I Black Strobe e il baffuto maestro della techno Arnaud Rebotini sono tornati a fare sul serio. Negli ultimi mesi hanno fondato una nuova etichetta discografica, ci hanno regalato remix, re-edit e mixtape in attesa di un nuovo album che molti danno come prossimo all’uscita, pronti a riprendere in mano lo scettro della musica electro dark.
Venerdì 28 ottobre gli amici di Le Cannibale vi danno l’opportunità di assistere ad uno degli eventi più importanti dell’anno. Per farvi crescere l’appetito ecco la nostra intervista alla quale seguono le info sull’evento.

Electro rock boogie band …
2) You were formed in Paris in 1997, but some members of the group have changed until now. How has your music evolved over these years ?
From clubs to rock through boogie disco
3) How would you define your genre and what have been your influences ?
Hard to define , depends on the members of the band … influences : dark/ techno/rock/boogie and disco!
4) Let’s talk about Arnaud Rebotini’s own label, the ”Blackstrobe Records”. How was this exigence born ? Is there the intention to produce also other artists?
To be more independante of course
Yes in 2012 new producers will be released on the label … follow the news
5) You have done a lot of remixes. How do you choose the songs ?
The remixes are the strenght, the basement and the story of Black Strobe so its always a question a time!
6) Talking about remixes, what’s your favourite one of ”Me and Madonna”, one of your biggest successes ? Who are the new generation’s artists would you like to support ?
The one I produced with DJ Pone from Birdy Nam Nam under the name Grand Crue, cause a true artistic meeting !
Next year you’ ll hear the Italian fireflies remixs and for the new generation I like Mustang , Hot Toddy and many more …
7) What are your projects for the future ?
Touring with my solo live here the EPK :
The release of the single Black Strobe versus Mixhell.
To finish to produce the new Black Strobe album, a new EP is ready !
