Dopo il disco di debutto, “Shrines“, uscito nel 2012 i Purity Ring sono stati abbastanza silenti. Le collaborazioni con Danny Brown e Jon Hopkins e poi nulla più. A dicembre ecco che spunta un nuovo brano, “Push Pull“, ed ora con l’annuncio che i più aspettavano: un nuovo disco, “Another Eternity“, che uscirà il prossimo 3 marzo via Last Gang Records (Canada) e 4AD nel resto del mondo.
