Meno di una settimana fa, DJ Shadow ha annunciato l’uscita di una versione deluxe di Endtroducing per festeggiare i suoi primi 20 anni. Josh Davis è tornato sull’argomento dando ulteriori dettagli.
Uscirà il 28 ottobre per Island Records Endtroducing… 20th Anniversary Endtrospective Edition e sarà composto da 3 dischi: il primo contenente l’album originale, il secondo contenente live version e versioni alternative e il terzo con i remix –tra gli altri– di Clams Casino, Hudson Mohawkem, Salva, Lee Bannon e Kuedo. La versione vinile è composta da 6 LP.
È inoltre possibile ascoltare il primo dei remix contenuti in Endtroducing… 20th Anniversary Endtrospective Edition, quello di Clams Casino.
Proprio in una conversazione con quest’ultimo, DJ Shadow aveva annunciato il progetto.
“This year is the twentieth anniversary of Entroducing… so curating this remix album, I wanted to provide another layer of perspective on the record and invite my current favorites and a few favorites from other eras to do remixes.”
