A record that made you want to start making music: The earliest musical obsession I had was probably Jimi Hendrix or something, I used to blast his album of blues covers all day on my CD Walkman. Parents had me playing piano but all I wanted to do was play electric guitar, which I did end up doing eventually but I never really progressed past power chords. In terms of making electronic music it would have to be Windowlicker by Aphex Twin.
