I’m a big sucker for 90ies RNB stuff. This single is produced by the best Timbaland (1998). The vocals are perfect. Great chorus, harmonies puffy and soulful. A beat that drives the whole song, both instrumental and voice. That sample of a baby laughing thrown in kills me. If you asked to Timbaland “Why did you sample a baby?”, he would have probably answered “Why Not?”. Word.
Plus the vinyl has an acapella version (future project?).
